Bill came to Steepletown last Spring to complete his GED, after his mom saw an article in the West Side Advance Paper. After completing his GED in a rather short time, Bill was given a paid work experience with Habitat for Humanity. As he proved to be a good worker, Steepletown paid for his lead abatement training in Lansing, through which he received his State certification as a Lead Worker. Bill now works full-time with Habitat for Humanity, helping other neighbors realize their dreams of home ownership.
